Water treatment

There are three methods of water treatment: physical treatment, chemical treatment, and biological water treatment. The way humans have treated water has been around for many years. Physical methods include: filter materials adsorb or block impurities in the water, precipitation methods, and the use of ultraviolet germicidal lamps to disinfect bacteria and viruses in the water. The chemical method is to use various chemicals to convert harmful substances in the water into substances that are less harmful to the human body. For example, the oldest chemical treatment method is to add alum to the water. Biological water treatment mainly uses organisms to decompose harmful substances in water.

According to different treatment objects or purposes, water treatment is divided into two categories: water supply treatment and wastewater treatment. Water supply treatment includes domestic drinking water treatment and industrial water treatment; wastewater treatment includes domestic sewage treatment and industrial wastewater treatment. Water treatment is of great significance to developing industrial production, improving product quality, protecting the human environment, and maintaining ecological balance.

In some places, sewage treatment is further divided into two types, namely sewage treatment and reclaimed water reuse. Commonly used water treatment chemicals include: polyaluminum chloride, polyaluminum ferric chloride, basic aluminum chloride, polyacrylamide, activated carbon and various filter materials. Some sewage has a peculiar smell or smell, so sewage treatment sometimes involves the treatment and discharge of waste gas.

Next, we mainly explain how ultraviolet germicidal lamps purify water and remove odors.

In terms of application fields, ultraviolet germicidal lamps can be used for wastewater treatment, urban water supply treatment, urban river water treatment, drinking water treatment, pure water treatment, organic agricultural return water treatment, farm water treatment, swimming pool water treatment, etc.

Why is it said that ultraviolet germicidal lamps can purify water? Because the special wavelengths of ultraviolet germicidal lamps, 254NM and 185NM, can photolyze and degrade harmful substances in the water, and destroy the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses, algae and microorganisms, thereby achieving the effect of physical sterilization.

According to the actual needs of customers, ultraviolet germicidal lamps are divided into two types: immersed submersible type and overflow type. Submersible type is divided into fully submerged type or semi-submerged type. Our fully immersed ultraviolet germicidal lamp. The entire lamp, including the lamp tail behind the lamp, cables, etc., has undergone strict waterproofing processes. The waterproof level reaches IP68 and can be completely put into water. Semi-immersed UV germicidal lamp means that the lamp tube can be placed in water, but the tail of the lamp cannot be placed in water. Overflow ultraviolet sterilization lamp means: the water to be treated flows into the water inlet of the ultraviolet sterilizer, and flows out from the water outlet after being irradiated by the ultraviolet sterilization lamp.

In Europe and the United States, the application of ultraviolet germicidal lamps in water treatment has become very popular and the technology is mature. Our country began to introduce this type of technology around 1990 and has been developing day by day. I believe that with the advancement and development of science and technology, ultraviolet germicidal lamps will be further improved and popularized in the field of water treatment applications in the future.
